Credit Union
It feels really great becoming a member of Kingsford MI credit union. I really wanted to feel like part of the community, and belonging to a credit union helps with that. Of course, I needed the usual banking services that everyone needs, such as checking accounts, debit cards, and credit cards. I also needed a safe-deposit box for some of my important documents and some heirloom jewelry.
I was able to get all these things right away from the credit union. I was also interested in establishing an IRA to ensure my financial security later in life, and the credit union people were able to set that up. After living in town for a while, I wanted to get a loan to consolidate some of my debts. And once again, the credit union was able to help me. In fact, I was very pleased about the reasonable rates that the credit union offered for various types of loans. I'll be certain to go back there the next time I need credit.
